Corporate Accountant

Buckle, a publicly traded specialty fashion retailer, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join their team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including the preparation of daily, monthly, and quarterly journal entries and reconciliations
Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial reports to various business units
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Perform ad hoc analyses as requested and work on special projects as needed
Research new accounting pronouncements and the related impacts on Buckle
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial information
Serve as the primary point of contact with all banking relationships. Act as liaison between banking institutions and store leadership
Support internal and external audits as a key contact for the auditors
Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit
Special projects and other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices

High level of integrity, keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency
