Responsibilities
Provide operational insight for forecasting, budgeting, and weekly performance reviews
Monitor cost drivers including labor, materials, logistics, project performance, and overhead allocation
Support the accounting team on inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and job costing methodology
Review spending patterns and support leadership in cost-control initiatives
Lead special projects such as plant/line expansions, new equipment ROI evaluations, and operational readiness plans
Work with leadership to optimize vendor spend, inventory turns, and supply chain flow
Partner with IT to enhance ERP functionality, reporting dashboards, and automation opportunities
Collaborate with HR on labor planning, staffing levels, and productivity reporting
Act as the operational “translator” between field/plant operations and the finance/accounting teams
Improve workflows across operations, inventory, procurement, job costing, and project execution
Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce errors and increase efficiency
Partner with plant/field operations to track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
Identify and implement continuous-improvement solutions and drive corrective action plans
Improve data capture from the floor/field, ensuring clean, timely operational metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
5–10 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or operations finance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data
Experience with ERP systems, operational dashboards, and KPI development
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authority
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products; strong Excel skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
