They are seeking a part-time Clinical Quality Specialist to ensure clinical excellence within their AI mental health coaching platform, focusing on user safety and effective support.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough reviews of anonymized user-AI conversations and session analyses to ensure therapeutic quality, safety, and adherence to evidence-based practices
Synthesize findings from conversation reviews to identify and escalate high-level clinical patterns, user safety concerns, and AI performance issues to our psychology and engineering leadership
Perform weekly system checks, including the evaluation of clinical safety guardrail activations and misfires, to ensure the platform operates safely and effectively
Contribute to our content strategy by writing and reviewing clinically-informed articles and content, ensuring accuracy, empathy, and alignment with SEO best practices
Communicate key insights and status updates effectively to leadership through asynchronous channels, including Loom video reports
Qualification
Required
A licensed mental health clinician (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD, PsyD) is preferred; however, advanced doctoral students will be considered
Post-licensure clinical experience providing direct mental health care
Deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing), psychodynamic interactions, attachment theory, and risk assessment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to spot patterns and nuances in conversational data
Excellent written communication skills, with experience in writing for both clinical and general audiences
High degree of autonomy and self-direction, comfort with technology, a passion for both mental health and AI, and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to quality assurance
