This role is responsible for full finance function ownership, including accounting, board reporting, and capital allocation, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Lead FP&A, capital strategy, investor materials, and reporting
Own capital raise processes: modeling, diligence, deck creation, term sheets
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, ops, and engineering
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
Establish KPIs, optimize reporting, and prepare for potential liquidity events
Qualification
Required
Strong technical accounting foundation, preferably from Big 4 audit or transaction services
6–10 years of experience, ideally with a blend of:
2–4 years in Big 4 (Audit or TAS)
Exposure to M&A, corporate development, or financial diligence
Transition into startup or growth-stage company in a finance leadership capacity
Demonstrated ownership of board materials, capital raise support, budgeting, and financial systems
Strong operational orientation —you enjoy solving business problems, not just reporting them
Ready for the intensity and pace of in-office leadership (5 days/week)
Strong investment banking or financial advisory foundation
Experience in private equity or internal corporate development/FP&A
Demonstrated leadership scaling startup or growth-stage finance orgs
Willingness to work onsite 5 days/week in Denver
