Responsibilities
Implementing the project survey plan specific to field operations
Oversee the operation with periodic reviews of record keeping, field procedures and survey audits to ensure that all work is performed in an efficient and professional manner
Maintain accurate and legible field notes
Setting and maintenance of control network
Performing layout
Qualification
Required
Must be willing to work 50-60 hours per week, along with weekends
0-3+ years' experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field is required
Trimble experience is a plus
Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team
Committed to working safe and getting the job done right the first time
Must have reliable transportation
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
Preferred
Experience with Rover and/or Total Station preferred but not required
