Senior Accounting Specialist - Trust
Leeds Professional Resources is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to manage client trust funds and ensure regulatory compliance within a law firm or fiduciary setting. The role involves processing transactions, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports to support audits and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
Process daily trust transactions, reconciliations, and interest calculations
Perform three-way trust reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Prepare trust reports and support audits/1099-INT reporting
Monitor balances and escalate issues per bar rules
Assist attorneys with trust disbursements and ledger maintenance
Qualification
Required
5+ years accounting with 3+ years in trust accounting
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of IOLTA and state bar trust rules
Proficiency in trust software (CosmoLex, TrustBooks, Clio)
Exceptional detail orientation and confidentiality
