Responsibilities
Install, commission, and service EDM equipment spanning from legacy 1980s units to current-generation systems
Diagnose and fix electrical, mechanical, and control issues with speed and precision
Execute routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and fine-tuned calibrations to exacting standards
Capture every service interaction in clear, accurate records, including repairs and site inventory
Partner directly with customers to understand needs and deliver exceptional service
Collaborate with team members and management to refine methods and improve outcomes
Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance service quality
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical credentials preferred
Field Service Technician background or similar hands-on service experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills; able to self-manage and prioritize
Valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel extensively to client sites
Comfort with diagnostic tools such as multimeter, oscilloscope (O-scope), and supporting software
Capability to learn PLC programming software and related platforms
Reading and applying electrical schematics
