Labor Relations Intern - Spring/Summer 2026

They are seeking a Labor Relations Intern to support the Labor Relations and Field Operations Human Resources teams with projects related to labor negotiations, apprenticeship program representation, and labor relations data management.

Responsibilities

Participate in labor relations working group sessions, capturing meeting notes, consolidating ideas, and assisting in drafting proposals for organized labor negotiations
Research working group ideas for proposal analysis
Develop presentations and supporting documentation that summarize discussions, feedback, and recommended discussion points for negotiation meetings
Research current company representatives who represent the company on local apprenticeship education committees
Identify locations where representation gaps exist and assist in evaluating potential candidates to serve as company representatives
Support the coordination of training for company’s apprenticeship education committee representatives to ensure alignment with company expectations and responsibilities
Collaborate with a cross-functional Human Resources working group to support the creation of a Labor Relations database
Assist in organizing and documenting key labor relations data, including technical violations, grievances, and progressive discipline history
Provide project support to Field Operations Human Resources Business Partners, including research, data analysis, and information discovery
Prepare presentations, reports, and written summaries that communicate findings and propose potential next steps or solutions

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree program, preferably in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Strong research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to commute to Morristown, NJ

Preferred

Coursework or demonstrated interest in labor relations, employee relations, or unionized work environments
Experience preparing presentations or working with data sets in an academic or professional setting
