Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial systems supporting accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Own the financial systems roadmap, including system architecture, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations with enterprise platforms
Partner closely with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Operational leaders to identify process improvements, drive automation, and ensure systems align with evolving business needs
Lead and develop a high-performing financial systems team, setting priorities, goals, and best practices
Oversee vendor relationships, including system providers and implementation partners, ensuring performance, cost-effectiveness, and contract compliance
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, security, and availability of financial data across all platforms
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and governance requirements related to financial systems
Develop and oversee end-user training, documentation, and change management to maximize adoption, efficiency, and data quality
Monitor system performance, proactively identify risks, and resolve complex system issues and dependencies
Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability for all financial systems initiatives
Champion continuous improvement by staying current on emerging financial technologies, ERP capabilities, information systems best practices, and procurement processes
Provide executive-level reporting and insights on system performance, risks, and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
