Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D HVAC ductwork models using Revit and AutoCAD
Produce shop drawings for fabrication and field installation
Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
Collaborate with other trades to resolve system conflicts
Support fabrication and installation teams with accurate documentation
Manage design changes, submittals, and project documentation
Troubleshoot coordination and constructability issues
Communicate with project managers, engineers, and field leadership
Ensure models reflect real-world installation requirements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of HVAC drafting / detailing experience
Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork systems
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Strong knowledge of Revit
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
Experience with Navisworks and clash detection
Ability to read and interpret mechanical construction documents
Strong communication and coordination skills
Experience working in construction or fabrication environments
Preferred
Field installation experience
BIM coordination experience across multiple trades
Commercial or industrial project background
Experience supporting fabrication shops
Experience working in mechanical contracting environments
