The Technician will perform various administrative and clinical functions, ensuring quality standards are met while assisting doctors and enhancing the patient experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures
Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients
Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures
Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays
Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies
Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff
Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s)
Qualification
Required
Ability to prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of preliminary testing procedures
Experience performing all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients
Ability to assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures
Experience coordinating patient scheduling and monitoring patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays
Ability to prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies
Ability to provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff
Willingness to perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s)
Physical ability to stand for sustained periods of time, stoop, grasp, lift, talk, and hear
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead
Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
