The Business Development Manager – Licensing will drive the licensing and commercialization of antibody assets, combining scientific expertise with business acumen to support long-term portfolio and relationships.

Responsibilities

Establish and evaluate external business opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and other structured transactions
Lead the development and presentation of business cases for prioritized opportunities, including robust analyses, key assumptions, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior management
Initiate, lead, and present external opportunities with limited supervision
Drive cross-functional due diligence and alliance management activities in collaboration with R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, and Finance teams
Serve as a primary business development point of contact for select partnerships and alliances
Manage business development operations and transactions, including proposals, term sheet development, negotiations, deal execution, and ongoing alliance management
Contribute to the definition and refinement of business development and licensing strategy aligned with overall corporate and portfolio objectives
Represent the organization at industry, investor, and partnering conferences and develop relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry stakeholders

Qualification

Ph.D. in pharmacologyAntibody developmentAnalytical skillsStrategic thinkingProblem-solving skillsBilingual MandarinEnglishInterpersonal skillsProject managementTeam-oriented mindset

Required

Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology
Strong background in antibody development required
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific and business concepts effectively to diverse internal and external stakeholders
Effective interpersonal and project management skills in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment
Strong team-oriented mindset

Preferred

Mandarin and English bilingual a plus
