Responsibilities
Develop and maintain APIs for data ingestion and integration using Python
Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, including:
Data lineage, governance, and metadata management
Data modeling and security compliance
Handling large-scale and incremental data loads
Optimize SQL queries for high-performance data operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with backend systems and applications
Implement best practices for data quality, security, and scalability
Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) for deployment and data storage solutions
Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and DevOps practices for automated deployments
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Python for API development and data engineering tasks
Experience in data pipeline design and ETL processes
Expertise in SQL query optimization and relational database management
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and related services
Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and metadata management
Understanding of security principles for data handling and API development
Preferred
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and NoSQL databases
