Network Engineering Intern – Help Desk Support 1490
Softgic is seeking a proactive, communicative, and growth-oriented Help Desk Support Intern to gain hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment. The role is primarily focused on technical support through service tickets, issue resolution, escalation, and effective communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities
Provide first-level help desk support via service ticketing systems
Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate technical issues when necessary
Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution
Assist in evaluating new application ideas
Review Active Directory, including old and administrative accounts
Support the organization and maintenance of file server data structures
Document network environments and assist with writing SOPs
Assist with installation of network equipment (racks, cabling, hardware)
Participate in field visits and support network engineers as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Eagerness to learn and openness to guidance and feedback
Ability to recognize when to escalate issues and ask for support
Self-motivated, responsible, and collaborative team player
Comfortable working independently
Proficiency with Microsoft tools and basic IT troubleshooting
Preferred
Understanding of IP networking, Ethernet concepts, and the OSI model
Familiarity with Active Directory
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
Basic cloud troubleshooting or migration support experience
Experience with technical documentation and SOP writing
