Responsibilities
Set up and run lathes, mills, and CNC machines to produce components to specification
Translate blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications into an efficient machining plan
Monitor operations, adjust parameters, and verify quality throughout each run
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
Keep your area clean and compliant with safety protocols and best practices
Share ideas with the team to streamline workflows and boost throughput
Record production data and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; machining certificates or a technical degree are a plus
Hands-on experience as a machinist with solid knowledge of machining fundamentals
Comfort reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality output
Strong problem-solving skills; effective both independently and within a team
Working knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is strongly preferred
