Responsibilities

Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially on difficult assignments and possible solutions. Work is completed using standard techniques and principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound professional judgement
In coordination with the PM, foster customer relationships, including setting agendas and closing-out activities or action items
Assist in the development of new techniques and/or improved processes to analyze project cost, productivity, and schedule
Review project analysis on budget tracking, financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring, and challenges to ensure project supports goals and objectives
Assist in the development of project forecasts and budget and schedule variance analysis
Review performance indicators and identify areas that need remedy
Determine and implement appropriate change management processes for the project
Escalate and work to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk
Identify and provide visibility into trade-offs between options, while identifying recommended approach
Perform project close-out steps to include identifying lessons learned/best practices to inform the success of future projects
Apply continuous improvement methodologies throughout the project management lifecycle
In coordination with the PM, foster customer relationships, including setting agendas and closing-out activities or action items

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration or related field
Entry level position, no prior experience required. Any project controls specialist, or equivalent relevant project management experience a plus
Proven ability to manage the project management life cycle
Proficient with project management tools: Primavera, SAP, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint software programs
Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
