They are seeking a Mechanical Drafting Intern to join their mission-focused team, where the intern will utilize CAD tools to create 3D models, perform mechanical design calculations, and check the accuracy of drawings.

Responsibilities

Use CAD tools to generate 3D models of parts and assemblies

Perform mechanical systems designs, engineering calculations and related engineering analyses to determine best solutions

Investigate, specify, and select raw materials, components and hardware required to meet customer requirements

Performs prototyping, assembly simulations, and tolerance stack calculations

Check drawings created by others for accuracy and quality

Qualification

SolidworksAutoCADASME Drawing StandardsEngineering calculationsCommunication skills

Required

Proficiency using Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of ASME Drawing Standards

Strong communication and presentation skills

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to access restrictions
