Support various Radiation Protection activities at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station

Project assignment includes statistical analysis of radiation detection instrumentation calibration and quality control check data with objective of reporting on stability of instrumentation and any associated recommendations based on performance history

Required

Enrolled in an accredited college or university program as an undergraduate or graduate student in Health Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline

Must be a full-time student (minimum 12 semester hours)

Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide an official transcript and other required documentation

Eligible to work in the U.S. in accordance with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regulations

Preferred

Enrolled in Health Physics/Radiation Physics, Mathematics, or Nuclear Engineering curriculum

Strength in mathematics and statistical analysis of data

Analog/Digital Electronics knowledge

Knowledge of radioactive decay processes, radiation detection, and interactions with matter

Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills

Demonstrated leadership abilities

Passion for learning and contributing to a dynamic, team-oriented environment
