Responsibilities
Azure Synapse & Azure Data Factory Expertise
Data Modeling
SAP BW Concepts: Data models (InfoCubes, DSOs, CompositeProviders), extraction mechanisms (Open Hub, ODP), BW Queries
SAP data familiarity – Supply chain, Ops
Python / ML Experience (preferred)
ETL tool experience: SAP Data Services, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or 3rd-party connectors like Theobald Xtract or SDI
SQL
Understanding of Both Source and Target Platforms
SAP BW Concepts: Data models (InfoCubes, DSOs, CompositeProviders), extraction mechanisms (Open Hub, ODP), BW Queries
Azure Synapse Analytics: Synapse workspace, dedicated SQL pools vs. serverless SQL, integration pipelines, Synapse Studio usage
