Responsibilities
Responsible for advanced CNC programming across multi‑axis mills and lathes, including 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑Axis machining centers and live‑tooling lathes
Provides high‑level technical expertise, mentoring, and collaboration with machinists, operators, Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, and Quality
Ensures programs, tooling strategies, and machining processes achieve the highest standards of precision, efficiency, safety, and quality
Plays a leadership role in manufacturability decisions, machining optimization, fixturing, tooling strategies, and digital workflow adoption
Qualification
Required
7+ years CNC machining and programming experience, including multi‑axis machinery
2+ years Esprit programming experience
Expert knowledge of zero‑point fixturing, automated workholding, and multi‑axis setups
Strong knowledge of GD&T and tight‑tolerance machining
Advanced tooling technology experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to mentor and train others in programming and machining best practices
Preferred
Wire EDM programming experience
Experience with ERP systems such as Fulcrum
