Responsibilities
Purchase and maintain adequate levels of inventory
Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone
Build relationships with customers
Ability to use company computer system as needed
Complete sales orders and tender cash sales
Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
Cold-call prospects that are generated by external lead sources
Work with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to develop a plan to help in sales effort
Overcome objections of prospective customers
Emphasize product/service features
Qualification
Required
Provide product knowledge on building materials including drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems, stucco and EIFS, tools, safety equipment, and accessories for the drywall industry
Support in the functions of operations, fleet management, and IT support
Purchase and maintain adequate levels of inventory
Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone
Build relationships with customers
Ability to use company computer system as needed
Complete sales orders and tender cash sales
Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
Cold-call prospects that are generated by external lead sources
