Responsibilities
Location of underground utilities such as water, gas, power, fiber optic, and telephone
Identification of utility sizes, materials, and types
Work as part of a two to four man crew
Collection of existing conditions information for the assessment and identification of underground utilities
Assist with operation and maintenance of vacuum excavation truck
Be knowledgeable of the quality levels of SUE and how to differentiate between each one
Ability to help implement new technologies and methods
Provide support for land survey in the creation of topographic maps
Qualification
Required
Minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of utility designation experience
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment
Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time)
Knowledge of Microsoft office software; Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Ability to type
Preferred
Associates degree preferred
Familiar of IOS operating system, a plus
Familiar with AutoCAD and Microstation, a plus
Familiarity with iPad or tablet, a plus
