Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program
ARRT or Board eligible, New Mexico State licensure required
BLS certification required
For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire
ACLS obtained within the first year
Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurologic and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
A graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs
Preferred
Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology
One year radiologic experience preferred
