Responsibilities

Perform duties as a Peer Supplemental Instruction (PSI) Leader, Peer Tutor, and/or Academic Coach as assigned
Attend all mandatory Peer Leader training sessions and meetings
Participate in AEC-sponsored campus events
Facilitate assigned PSI, tutoring, and/or academic coaching sessions
Submit accurate attendance records and session summaries in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by AEC staff

Required

Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College
Must maintain a 3.0 GPA
Must have earned an A in any class that they support
Must possess excellent written and oral communication and computing skills
Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment
Must be in good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good standing for the duration of employment
Must maintain a regular weekly schedule
Must possess attention to detail and superior organizational skills
Must have the ability to handle confidential information and follow FERPA guidelines
Ability to exhibit a level of competency or proficiency in the subject matter of the hire
Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with students, faculty, and staff
Ability to use the Internet and electronic mail systems
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration
