Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of responsive, scalable frontend applications using frameworks like Vue, React, or Svelte
Architect and implement best practices for code quality, performance, and maintainability, including CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies (e.g., Jest, Vitest), and state management (e.g., Vuex/Pinia, Redux, or Svelte stores)
Mentor and guide a team of 5-10 frontend engineers, conducting code reviews, pair programming sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops to foster growth and innovation
Collaborate with backend teams, UX/UI designers, and product managers to translate requirements into robust, user-centric solutions
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, ensuring our stack remains modern and efficient (e.g., incorporating TypeScript, CSS-in-JS like Tailwind or Emotion, and tools like Vite or Webpack)
Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize for cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG standards), and performance metrics (e.g., Lighthouse scores)
Contribute to agile processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and roadmap development
Qualification
Required
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in frontend development with expertise in at least two of the following frameworks: Vue.js, React.js, or Svelte. Demonstrated ability to work across multiple frameworks in production environments
Leadership: At least 1 year of experience as a Tech Lead or similar role, with proven success in team leadership, project management, and technical decision-making
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards
Experience with version control (Git), build tools, and deployment processes
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs) for full-stack collaboration
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker)
Knowledge of SEO best practices, progressive web apps (PWAs), or mobile-first development
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio
