Responsibilities
Intake, evaluate, manage, and litigate workers’ compensation matters
Attend and defend depositions
Analyze medical reports, PD ratings, and medical-legal issues
Develop and execute case strategy
Maintain clear, professional communication with clients
Appear at WCAB hearings and conferences
Collaborate closely with firm attorneys, case managers, and support staff
Qualification
Required
Active California Bar license (required)
Self-motivated attorney capable of managing a caseload with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of workers' compensation law and procedure
Strong knowledge of the law and WC procedures
Ability to provide sound legal advice and strategic guidance
Professional and courteous demeanor
Preferred
Prior workers' compensation experience preferred
