Responsibilities

Prepare and review Federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Assist in preparing workpapers and schedules in accordance with accounting and tax standards
Support senior staff in tax planning and research projects, including cross-border and multi-entity structures
Stay up to date on current tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in all deliverables
Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure deadlines are met and client communications are professional and timely

Qualification

Accounting degreeGAAP knowledgeTax compliance experienceMicrosoft ExcelCPA licenseAccounting software proficiencyAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsOrganizational skillsWritten communicationVerbal communication

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software

Preferred

Master's degree in Taxation
Tax compliance experience is a plus, particularly in preparing business or individual returns
CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
