Critical Project Services is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to oversee and manage engineering projects within their operations. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timeliness, resources, and budgets

Coordinate and manage all aspects of engineering projects, from conception through completion

Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget

Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff

Assign tasks and responsibilities, set performance expectations, and monitor progress

Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure alignment and resolve any issues

Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions

Ensure technical standards and quality requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle

Review and approve technical documentation, designs, and specifications

Engage with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments, to gather requirements and provide project updates

Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or changes in project scope

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them

Monitor and manage project risks and issues to minimize impact on project success

Evaluate project performance and outcomes to identify areas for improvement

Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements

Promote a culture of safety and adherence to safety protocols among team members

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) is required

Proven experience as an Engineering Project Manager or similar role in the manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)

Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Preferred

A master's degree or PMP certification is a plus
