Responsibilities
Communicate and Assist Throughout the Equipment Process with Customers, Referral Sources, Vendors, and Team Members. Including, but Not Limited to, Explaining Overall Processes, Insurance Coverage, Obtaining Required Documentation and Authorizations for Insurance Coverage in a Timely Manner and Responding to Questions or Concerns, While Coordinating Appropriate Actions in a Professional Manner and Ensuring Customer Satisfaction
Update and Maintain Accuracy of All Customer, Healthcare Profession, and Healthcare Location Files
Evaluate All Completed Documentation and Authorizations to Ensure They Are Revenue Qualified According to Federal/State/Regulatory Compliance Policies and Procedures, and Best Practice, Resulting in the Production of Clean Claims and Smooth Operations Between Departments
Schedule and Coordinate Assistive Technology Professionals (Atps), Complex Rehab Technicians (Crts), and Manufacturer Reps When Appropriate, for Evaluations, Delivery of Equipment, and Any Other Needed Meetings
Ensure That Timely Follow-up Is Completed on All Work Queues and Productivity Standards Are Met
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Three-years related experience required
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to naturally build strong relationships
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask without sacrificing a high level of service
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of health insurance
