Semiconductor Reliability Intern
MACOM is a semiconductor design and manufacturing company headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts, specializing in products for various applications. The Semiconductor Reliability Intern will support product qualification tests and process reliability experiments, providing an opportunity to gain exposure to real-world industrial products.

Responsibilities
Identify and prepare samples for reliability tests
Develop test fixtures and/or circuit boards for environmental tests as required; may include mechanical assembly and soldering
Make DC and RF electrical measurements
Execute qualification and/or reliability tests
Perform statistical analysis of measurement results
Support failure analysis as required
Report results, including recommendations for reliability improvement
Qualification
Required
Completion of at least two years of a traditional four-year degree program, majoring in EE, Physics, Materials Science, or other technical discipline
Basic understanding of electrical measurements
Basic understanding of electronic principals, including understanding of semiconductor devices
Basic computer programming skills
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
Preferred
Familiarity with data analysis software tools, such as Excel, MathCad, Minitab, or JMP desired
