Responsibilities
Process orders and keep customers updated on delivery status
Help technicians find the parts they need to fix vehicles, ensuring the service team's commitment to vehicle completion is supported
Count and organize parts to keep inventory accurate, ensuring parts availability promises can be kept
Greet customers with a smile and assist them in finding the right parts
Answer questions in person or by phone clearly and courteously
Share pricing, promotions, and helpful suggestions with customers
Learn how to use inventory software
Shadow experienced team members
Take on new tasks as you grow in the role
Assist with returning unused parts to vendors, suggesting improvements to the return process
Take on new tasks as you grow, showing willingness to embrace challenges outside the initial scope
Keep the shop stocked and organized
Keep shelves neat and the workspace clean, protecting assets and minimizing clutter
Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting objectives
Qualification
Required
Currently in high school or working toward a GED
Friendly and willing to learn
Comfortable using a computer
Able to lift up to 75 lbs
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Forklift experience is a plus (but not required)
Interest in cars, trucks, or how things work is a bonus
