Responsibilities

Support multiple programs within LM Space, focusing on NGI star tracker hardware
Work with a variety of subject matter experts to ensure the complete success of the hardware
Collaborate with external entities, such as customers and suppliers, and include periods of necessary business travel

Required

Familiarity with GNC subsystem components and applications
Experience working with hardware development, including build, test, and integration
Strong written and verbal communications skills
To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen
Final Secret clearance is required to start employment. Applicants must possess a currently active Secret security clearance to be considered qualified
Selected candidates will be required to maintain a government issued Secret clearance for long term employment on this program
Successful applicants generally have at least 5+ years of related experience

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or other related engineering degree
Experience with working on hardware non-conformances and test failures
Experience with technically managing suppliers to execute to program requirements and needs
Experience reviewing analyses, manufacturing, test, and hardware delivery documentation
Experience developing charts and presenting to program leadership and customer
Familiarity with star tracker or other optical hardware and performance
Familiarity with missile navigation
