The Arc Welding and Directed Energy Deposition Processes Group is looking for an Engineering Intern to support project work and gain exposure to different industries and technologies.

Responsibilities

Support engineers and technicians with project work
Perform tasks that allow the group to operate more efficiently
Gain exposure to different industries and technologies during the internship

Required

Desire to work in hands-on lab environment and research environment
Education and experience in arc welding and/or robotic programming
Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively present to a group
Proven adaptability and flexibility as a part of a team
Solutions-oriented mindset
Seeking to learn from leading minds in innovation
Hands-on arc welding experience desired
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in engineering at an accredited university
