Responsibilities
Greet and register patients; verify insurance and demographic information
Manage check-in and check-out workflows and collect co-payments
Respond to patient inquiries and route calls appropriately
Support clinical teams with preparation of patient charts and documentation
Coordinate follow-up appointments, referrals, and pre-visit requirements
Facilitate communication among providers, staff, and external partners
Coordinate surgery dates, pre-operative requirements, and provider availability
Communicate instructions to patients and ensure all documentation is completed
Liaise with surgical centers and operating room schedulers
Maintain accurate records and support daily clinic throughput
Utilize Epic/APeX for scheduling, encounter management, and documentation
Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation using Microsoft Office Suite
Qualification
Required
A college degree and at least 6 months of relevant experience, or 2 years of healthcare administrative experience (clinic, medical office, or hospital setting)
Proficiency with Epic/APeX and the Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic
