Responsibilities

Develop and optimize methods for floss that are grounded in consumer insights and focuses first on performance (cleaning, comfort), usability (dispensing, feel in hand, etc.) and other benefits of interest (i.e. flavor)
Support technology development by independently conducting technical testing and when needed, create minimum viable prototypes (MVPs) to vet hypothesis
This work involves using creativity and problem-solving skills to assess product performance, facilitating rapid iterative testing, and evaluating key product attributes to determine the effectiveness of technologies, all while producing reliable and reproducible results that meet project objectives
Ability to analyze consumer behaviors and identify drivers that should be included in methods
Ability to design and execute qualitative and/or quantitative tests to gather the needed insights to inform product development
Ability to analyze and interpret data using statistics
Experience creating engaging demos that effectively communicate product benefits and features to stakeholders, consumers, etc. is not a requirement but will be learned on the job if the candidate does not yet have this skill
Work is predominantly execution/procedural oriented, e.g., in a lab, in a plant or pilot plant (internal or external), at a clinical site, with consumers, and/or on a computer
Assembles of samples/ prototypes, runs lab test routines, creates and updates specs based on standard information, executes changes of simple technical solutions
Possesses basic understanding of small and large scale, qualitative and quantitative consumer tests as well as standard technical tests following SOPs
Submits products for analytical testing
Utilizes P&G Systems: SMART, Desktop Reporter, and GAIMS
Support the product team to refine and prioritize the product backlog
Conduct customer and market research and document findings analytically
