Responsibilities

Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues
Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues / enquiries
Configure, maintain, and solve Honeywell hardware / software issues including: Experion PKS, other DCS hardware / software such as LCN & TPS
Upgrade Experion software from one software release to another software release on live control system without causing any interruption to customer’s industrial process
Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell’s new technology offering
Understand customer key processes and economic drivers to translate those into business opportunities while providing timely research and recommendations
Assist Sales during sales pursuits and be the face of Honeywell to end-users
Learn the end-to-end product / solution development and delivery / execution of Honeywell products and solutions
Use technical expertise of sophisticated Honeywell solutions / product offerings to improve customer experience

Required

4 years of professional experience in a related field (field service, technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, prior military experience, development and/or reliability engineering)
Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of time in VA, TN, NC or SC - up to 2 weeks away from home at once
Ability to obtain multiple L3 certifications within 18 months

Preferred

Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
Experience with control systems
Experience with Industrial IT
Software configuration, migration experience, project engineering experience, virtualization, Cyber process control, electrical, or other application experience
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Self-reliance and the ability to learn independently
