Responsibilities

Work on multiple transactions simultaneously across all stages of the investment process, including structuring, investment committee, and ongoing relationship and asset management
Develop financial models
Conduct due diligence
Participate in legal documentation process, including the preparation of term sheets and the negotiation of key terms
Manage overall transaction process in partnership with senior investment professionals
Mentor and train junior members of the team
Contribute to the team’s strategic planning and capability building

Required

2+ years of experience in a buyside investment role or relevant banking team
2+ years of experience in asset-backed or financial institution credit investing or advisory
Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Experience with and interest in working on a high functioning team
Relationship building
