Trust and Estates Paralegal
Addition Management is a prestigious law firm located in Sarasota, FL, seeking a Trust and Estates Paralegal to join their team. The role involves drafting estate planning documents, reviewing advanced documents, and ensuring compliance with estate and trust administration procedures.
Responsibilities
Draft fundamental estate planning and funding documents
Review of advanced estate planning documents
Draft probate and trust settlement documents
Knowledge of the rules of procedure governing estate and trust administrations as they relate to this role
Completing tasks and following through with issue resolution, including the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
At least five years of experience working in a mid to large-sized Florida law firm as an estate planning or estate and trust administration Paralegal
Florida probate experience
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and time constraints
Ability to effectively balance multiple assignments and workflow
Strong attention to detail, essential for accurately drafting and reviewing legal documents
Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including extensive knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience working with law firm case management and billing software required
Preferred
Knowledge of iManage, SmartTime, Aderant, Wealth Counsel, Estate Works, and Hot Docs are a plus
