Graphic Designer
Great Southern Wood Preserving is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team and enhance their brand across various channels. The role involves designing creative assets for campaigns, collaborating with team members, and maintaining brand consistency while managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities
Design creative assets for digital marketing campaigns, including web graphics, social media, email, and paid media
Create and update marketing collateral such as presentations, one-pagers, brochures, and sales enablement materials
Collaborate closely with marketing managers, content creators, and developers to translate concepts into compelling visuals
Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while contributing fresh ideas and creative solutions
Prepare files for digital and print production, ensuring accuracy and quality
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Incorporate feedback thoughtfully and iterate designs efficiently
Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably on an in-house or marketing team
Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and marketing-focused design work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experience designing for web, social media, and email
Solid understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
Prepares rough drafts and presents the ideas in a neat, orderly fashion
Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent organization, time-management, and attention to detail
Manages competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
Preferred
Experience with motion graphics or basic video (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar)
Familiarity with Figma or other collaborative design tools
Experience designing for B2B or marketing-driven organizations
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or working with web teams
Experience with print production and vendor coordination
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and workflows, including prompt-based image generation, concept exploration, and creative iteration using tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, Abacus, or similar
Photography and/or videography experience, including shooting, basic editing, and preparing visual assets for marketing use
