Responsibilities
Drafting, filing, and arguing a wide range of motions, including:
Motions for summary judgment/adjudication
Demurrers
Motions to strike
Discovery motions
Motions for new trial
Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis
Developing persuasive legal arguments and strategies
Preparing detailed memorandums, briefs, and other legal documents
Attending court hearings and presenting oral arguments
Collaborating with trial attorneys on case strategy and development
Staying current on relevant case law and statutory changes
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the State Bar
7+ years of experience specifically in law and motion practice within personal injury or premises liability
Proven track record of drafting successful motions and compelling legal arguments
Exceptional legal research and writing skills are a must
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presence
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure
Detail-oriented and highly organized
