Peckham Industries, Inc. is offering a paid Internship Program designed to provide practical experience in the field of Occupational Safety and Health. As a Safety Intern, you will support the Safety Officer and work with production team members to identify hazards and develop safety programs and training materials.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the review and update of safety programs—such as lockout/tagout procedures and equipment inspections

Supporting the development of clear, practical standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Contributing to the creation of site-specific safety training materials and programs

Work directly with production team members on the shop floor to identify hazards

Assess risks

Help develop effective, practical solutions that reinforce Dailey Precast’s strong and proactive safety culture

Required

Excellent Attendance and Punctuality

You are responsible for your own housing and reliable transportation

Strict adherence to all safety protocol, OSHA safety rules and regulation required

Current enrollment at an accredited college or university with a 3.0 or higher GPA
