The role involves assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment, as well as providing mechanical support for military vehicles. Candidates will receive on-the-job training and are not required to have prior experience.

Responsibilities
Assemble, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment, components, and systems in accordance with schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal work instructions
Operate test equipment, conduct functional and performance tests, and document results in the prescribed format
Perform precise calibration and alignment checks; execute modifications, part replacements, and preparation of required compounds and solutions
Provide hands on mechanical support for HIMARS, M270, Bradley, Stryker, M1 Abrams, MRAP, and other military vehicles, including preventative maintenance, fault isolation, and repair of diesel and gasoline power train systems
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines; proven troubleshooting ability on vehicle power train systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals
Preferred
Prior experience as a diesel mechanic on heavy duty equipment (e.g., bulldozers, large industrial diesel engines)
Demonstrated work on military platforms such as M270, HIMARS, HUMVEE, or comparable tactical vehicles
