Required

Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, or a closely related field by start of the appointment

Record of scholarly productivity and evidence of potential for an externally funded, nationally or internationally recognized research program
Experience in effective teaching or mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students
Ability to teach and develop courses in related emerging technologies
Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and service to the departmental, college, and university
Communication and interpersonal skills
