Responsibilities

Perform structural design and analysis using appropriate codes, standards, and engineering principles

Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications for projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures

Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software and equipment to develop and document structural designs

Coordinate with engineers, CAD technicians, clients, project managers and other disciplines to ensure complete and accurate project deliverables

Research design options and materials; assist with developing technical solutions that meet client and project requirements

Review and check design drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance following established QA/QC procedures

Support preparation of cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation

Participate in project meetings and maintain professional communication with internal teams and external clients

Maintain organized project files, documentation, and calculations in accordance with company standards

Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and efficient work environment
