Engineering Process Architect 3
NuScale Power is a leading company in the nuclear energy sector, and they are seeking an Engineering Process Architect 3 to implement standards and best practices for business process management. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to improve engineering processes, develop documentation, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation of engineering programs, standards, procedures, work instructions, and templates
Support design of new processes through collaboration with engineers, program managers, quality, regulatory, and operations teams using interviews, meetings, and research to comprehend current-state practices and define future-state processes
Lead initiatives in support of the continuous improvement of engineering programs, procedures, and processes
Analyze and evaluate existing procedures and processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, comprehension, compliance, and standardization
Develop and manage procedural documents that are well-structured, easy to understand, and accessible to the target audience
Ensure requirements from applicable sources (e.g., NQA-1, ASME, NRC, ISO 9001, etc.) are met and maintained
Create training materials and provide training on engineering processes and best practices. Act as a trusted advisor for users and stakeholders on process intent, interpretation, and application, including for internal and external audits
Provide technical writing and editorial support for key engineering work products, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance across technical documentation
Effectively communicate with other technical and non-technical disciplines
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum requirement is a 4-year degree in technical related field, or a combination of Business Administration and technical working experience, is required
Alternatively, an additional 4 years (9 years total) of full-time directly applicable working experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum 5 years of directly-related, full-time professional experience in engineering process development is required
Must have demonstrated experience in developing and writing procedures for complex, multi-disciplinary design projects
Experience working in a highly-regulated engineering environment
Strong technical writing, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
Ability to be proactive and work with minimal direction once tasks are assigned and understood
Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
Preferred
Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP), or similar certification
Experience working in NQA-1 or ISO 9001 compliant engineering programs
Experience with process mapping tools and techniques (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN))
Knowledge of lean and/or Six Sigma principles
Experience in power generation or nuclear industries
