New Grad, Entry LevelALTA Language Services is seeking a talented individual to join their Testing Department as a contractor to review test content in Chechen. The linguist will be responsible for delivering accurate, high-quality documentation and may have the opportunity to work with the Testing Operations team to score tests regularly.

Responsibilities
Review and revise speaking and listening test content in Chechen, as per development specifications provided by ALTA Project Managers. Candidate will review content for its overall appropriateness and its relevancy to language proficiency
Report to Project Managers about the progress of the work
Qualification
Required
Native speaker of the given target language as specified in the position title
Excellent reading comprehension skills in the target language
Excellent writing skills in the target language and in English
Advanced communication skills in English
Ability and desire to work collaboratively
Ability to meet deadlines
Professionalism
Computer literacy
Research skills
Degree: College degree or equivalent experience
Computer Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Languages: Native-level fluency in the target language is required
Experience using the target language in a professional capacity (writing, teaching, translation, interpretation, etc.) is required
Preferred
Previous experience in test development or review is preferred
Previous experience using a language proficiency scale (e.g., ILR or CEFR) is preferred
