Clinical Psychologist - Psychosis Risk Program and Language Lab - Manhattan, NY
The Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a motivated licensed clinical psychologist for an Instructor-level faculty position in the Psychosis Risk Program and Language Lab. This role involves clinical leadership, mentorship, and contributions to academic research, focusing on psychosis risk and innovative treatment approaches.

Responsibilities
Serve as clinical point person for all studies and program operations, including reviewing clinical reports, emergency and risk management, and supervising staff on clinical and diagnostic assessment
Oversee participant recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies, including community outreach and referral management
Provide consultation and coordinate with other mental health professionals regarding referrals and clinical recommendations
Option to provide direct patient care through Mount Sinai’s Faculty Practice Associates
Collaborate with Dr. Corcoran in leading the Psychosis Risk Program (cuemountsinai.org)
Build and maintain partnerships with referring clinicians, schools, and community organizations
Manage incoming referrals to CUE
Lead CUE meetings to foster collaboration and growth
Direct the Psychology Externship in Psychosis Risk, providing training and supervision to the next generation of psychologists
Provide research and career mentorship to research staff and volunteers on completing their independent research projects and preparing them for doctoral programs or medical school
Author manuscripts and present your work at scientific conferences
Submit grants and pursue your independent line of research with mentorship and guidance from Dr. Corcoran and other senior faculty
Provide education and training throughout the Mount Sinai Health system, local community, and at national and international forums
Assist Dr. Corcoran with pre- and post-award management of ongoing NIH and foundation funded studies
Oversee day-to-day study operations, from recruitment to dissemination of findings, with strong support from our research staff and leadership from Dr. Corcoran
Collaborate with the Grants & Contracts office on budgets, grant submission, progress reports, and compliance
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in psychology
Licensed in NY or eligible for licensure
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, and willingness to tackle complex tasks
Preferred
Preferred experience with Clinical High Risk (CHR) and/or psychosis populations
Added bonus: Experience with coding, natural language processing, and NIH grant applications
