Delinquency Coordinator Team Lead

They are seeking a highly accountable and execution-focused Delinquency Coordinator – Team Lead to manage delinquency operations for an institutional client portfolio while leading a team of Delinquency Coordinators.

Responsibilities
Own and execute day-to-day delinquency activities for an assigned institutional client portfolio
Serve as a first-line leader for a team of Delinquency Coordinators, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight
Communicate directly with delinquent residents via written correspondence and phone calls to resolve outstanding balances
Coordinate and oversee the posting of delinquency notices in accordance with policy and legal requirements
Review delinquency accounts and recommend payment plan structures to Property Managers, Asset Managers, or the Delinquency Manager
Monitor delinquency activity and flag high-risk or complex cases for escalation
Support eviction-related workflows by coordinating with Property Management teams and periodically interfacing with eviction attorneys as needed
Train and onboard new Delinquency Coordinators, ensuring consistent understanding of policies, systems, and expectations
Audit delinquency notes, documentation, and case handling for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Partner with the Delinquency Manager to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve delinquency outcomes
Reinforce delinquency policies and operational standards across the team
Track performance trends and contribute to reporting and analysis related to delinquency activity and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior experience in property management, delinquency, collections, or a related operational role is required
Demonstrated ability to manage a personal caseload while supporting or leading others
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in resident-facing and documentation-heavy environments
Ability to exercise sound judgment in sensitive or escalated situations
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a process-driven environment
Prior experience training or mentoring team members
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (with a focus on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) on a Windows-based platform
Working experience creating artwork, preparing files, and troubleshooting with the intent of producing materials in the offset and/or web printing industry
Proven track record of success in developing ideas from concept to completion through the submission of an original portfolio of work
Preferred
Minimum of 2 years of previous full-time graphic design experience
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or design visual arts
Strong knowledge of creating photo-realistic composites in Photoshop
Experience in web design, digital illustration, photography, animated graphics, and video production
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Experience working in a corporate environment
