They are seeking a Senior Tax Manager specializing in SALT to lead and review complex tax engagements, oversee compliance matters, and mentor staff while being on a Partner track from day one.

Responsibilities
Lead and review complex state and local income/franchise, and sales & use engagements for multi-state businesses across a range of industries
Oversee SALT provision and compliance matters, including state effective tax rate analysis and audit defense support
Identify and implement tax planning strategies related to entity structuring, mergers, acquisitions, and business expansions
Stay up-to-date on regulations and SALT laws
Mentor staff and senior associates
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of progressive experience in SALT within public accounting
Deep technical expertise related to multi-state income and sales & use taxation
Strong understanding of nexus standards and state conformity rules
Previous experience managing teams and leading complex client engagements
Active CPA + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
Candidates must be based and authorized to work in the U.S
