Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with grain producers and farmers
Negotiate and secure grain purchase contracts
Provide patrons with market insights, products, and support
Promote/sell Risk Management services and ProAdvantage Program
Organize and present producer meetings on grain marketing alternatives
Build cross-divisional relationships to expand customer base
Participate in safety culture initiatives and committee service
Maintain professional image with company property and vehicles
Serve on Legacy’s Safety Committee
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) OR
1-4 years related experience/training OR
Equivalent combination of education/experience
Series 3 or the ability to obtain
Deep understanding of grain markets, pricing mechanisms, and industry trends
Proven ability to secure contracts and build long-term grower relationships
Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
Effective verbal/written skills for interactions with growers and team
Ability to resolve issues related to grain quality, logistics, and suppliers
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) or equivalent, email, and internet research
Preferred
Experience with CRM software, commodity trading platforms, or market data systems
